BB Round-up – Liverpool move KO’d, Hammers warning, Tottenham losing bid gives Arsenal upper hand

West Ham was celebrating a famous win over their rivals in the bid for the Olympic Stadium in Stratford. While the Government is still to rubber stamp the deal the noises coming out of Tottenham is that it is back to the drawing board, with manager Harry Redknapp claiming that the North Londoners need to find a solution if the club have any hope competing with the big clubs in the future.

In the papers this morning there have been a mixed bag of stories that include Mancini claiming City can rule the world; Real Madrid target Frank Arnesen, while Steve Bruce accuses Fabio Capello of a lack of respect.
